headspace Launceston offers young people aged 12-25 a welcoming environment where they can access confidential and free mental health support, health advice, and general information. We are a team of friendly workers who specialise in youth wellbeing.

headspace Launceston’s services are available at no cost for Australian citizens or permanent residents through Medicare . For information on getting a medicare card click here.

We accept referrals from multiple sources, ensuring young people (12-25) and their families and friends can directly access headspace services, without needing a formal referral from other service providers. Give us a call to make an appointment.

Headspace Devonportheadspace Devonport is located at 33 Steele Street and is a short walk from public car parks in Macfie Street. (click for map)

We are open 9 to 5, 5 days a week; Thursdays for new enquiries and all other days by appointment only.

To access headspace Devonport’s services come in and see us on Thursdays anytime between 9am and 4pm; our staff will spend time with you, explain the service and help you work out what assistance you need. We also welcome family members and friends to visit us on Thursdays if they want to talk about someone they are concerned about.

headspace Devonport offers young people mental health and counselling support. We provide clinical counselling to young people for a wide range of issues from low mood, anxiety and other mental health concerns, and other concerns that commonly affect young people including conflict or hassles at school, home or work; difficulties with relationships; hassles with drugs and alcohol; being comfortable and being accepted for diverse gender and sexuality status, and so on.  In addition to our Counsellor we also have a Youth Worker who can support young people in different ways such as with help getting access to services such as housing, vocational services, GP’s and Nurses, and Centrelink.
